The Chestnut Tree

The Chestnut Tree in the church graveyard is looking glorious. It’s so big! Spotted it on my evening 1.5 mile walk just before I joined neighbours in the street for the NHS Clap.

One neighbour had a wooden clacker, another had cow bells and a boy wore his Scout uniform with pride. It was such fun standing on the country lane and as a couple of cars went by they tooted their horns and we all waved back.

In other news my broadband was crawling today so I couldn’t get much work done on my computer. I did some industry news scanning on my iphone on 4G for a while, tried the computer again, then got fed up and reorganised my fridge. So satisfying to have a good sort out!

I had an asthma check by phone this morning which was pretty pointless. Only one hour’s exercise and hayfever season is really affecting my asthma on high pollen days and all the nurse could suggest was to do some deep breathing at home. I can’t wait to go out for longer than one hour after ‘all this’ is over. I look forward to swimming too.
