Wood Anemones

Working at paperwork this morning before heading out to pick up some food. Things seem to be very much more relaxed in the shops and a sense of complacency prevails.

I walked along the canal in the sun with teenager and all the flowers were out and the birds singing. These wood anemones  line the canal banks and were at their best today.

I hear more reports of tourists in the area and the holiday homes are still full. The postman was complaining about delivering wine supplies to holiday homes.
