Sun, Shapes & Shadows 1
Dropped Carl to work, then made my way in to town to search for new reading material. Nothing special, really, though I had hopes for Phillipa Gregory's Earthly Joys.
It was another fine, sunny day, and the play of light and shade when I rescued the car from the car park proved to be a ready-made blip and suggested to me the possibility of a mini series devoted to sun and shapes and shadows.
The rest of the day was lazy, lazy, lazy. While in the book shop I got a call about my swan-neck iMac, confirming that the hard disk has reached the end of its life and quoting 270-odd euro to replace it and try for data recovery. That's enough to force anyone to hit a nice soft comfortable pillow, and that's more r less where I stayed for the rest of the day, sleeping and reading.
