First rhododendron blooms

All this warm sunshine has really brought on the plants in the garden. This is usually the first rhododendron to burst into flower and I love the colours, from the deep pink of the buds to the dusky colour of the open blooms.

I wonder how much longer this lovely weather will last. Very often we have a dry spell in April and our stream, which is our water supply, gets quite low, but it hasn't let us down yet.
