Bench with a view

This weirdly shaped bench sits atop a small hillock just to the west of the toilet block in John Muir Country Park. It gives you an almost 360* view of the salt flats and Belhaven beach and in the distance you can see Bass Rock (right hand corner). Sadly over the twelve or so years that we have lived-in West Barns it has weathered and deteriorated but it is still the only place in John Muir Country Park  where you sit down and have a rest other than on the ground ( not that we are allowed to do that currently! ).
