Another wonderful day and mostly spent in the garden and environs.

Had a lovely catch up last evening with Gary and Izzy, who walked round to see us and we socially distanced while chatting.  It was great to have their news, and just to see them.

And this afternoon a visit from Cali, dropping off my prescription, she sat at a social distance with her coffee and we had a great chat too.

We are fortunate to have such contacts, and it keeps us going in these strange times.

A couple of years ago the HG acquired a cutting of a cowslip, and we wondered if it would flower.  It has flowered this year, and it is beautiful, I know it is really a wild flower, but it is lovely, and I am told becoming increasingly rare in Scotland, so we are pleased to have it.
