Flying flags and other things

Theme for this St Georges Day is all things flying. Flags, Aircraft and a Herring Gull.
Another glorious day for an early morning walk, more gardening but cutting hedges today, took one of the path that we've maintained since we moved it when the hedges were about 6 inches high! See extra. This is a small part (and only the right side cut in the photo), hedges stretch from the gate about 15 metres away to the left.
Also put back together a bedroom seat/linen basket that, yesterday, we removed the top, recovered it and braided around the edge, painted the bottom part and handles and voila! it's like new.
