Malevolent intruder

I had the shock of my life when I came into the front room just now. Two piercing green eyes staring at me through the gap in the blinds.

I could read his mind "I smell hamster"

This is a new cat in our area. I know this because it wakes me up at dawn caterwauling at the established locals, trying to take over their territory (see extra).

I swore when I saw it to be honest as it was such a shock to see it. In reply it gave me a malevolent meow before I closed the window.
