Throwback to the swinging sixties

This is the genuine article - a sitar from P Rana and Co of Calcutta brought from India in 1965, by a friend of my mothers. The instrument has fallen into disrepair but I have obtained a full set of strings from an american supplier and a book on how to tune and play it - so lets get started. Norwegian Wood anyone?
