Hunting for primroses
Lottie and I were back up on the cliffs again today. When we were there the other day I saw a very few primroses, so today we went further along to what has always been a good spot for them.
There were lots of them, right on the cliff side, but they were tricky to get good photos of! Luckily we found some along the fence line, see extras.
We sat and watched the fulmars and gulls, a heron, the waves and listened to the skylarks, oyster catchers, curlews and peewits. Lots of little possibly twite flitting around too, and a wren bobbing about on the stone dyke.
Stewed the first rhubarb of the year and made a lasagne. A good day!
The cliffs and beach look better large. So does Lottie!
