High rise bee hives....

Once everything was fed, headed along to the turnip field to bring in all the fence nets and stobs that had been used to divide the field up for the ewes to graze off the turnips . We only give them a few acres at a time so they clear everything up and don’t waste the whole field.
After lunch got Kev to bring a trailer load of tar scalpings down the road to one of the fields the cattle will be going into. Last year they had churned up everything round about the water trough so used the tar to build up round the trough.
Once that was done Littlemiss and I went to the vet’s to collect BVD vaccine for the cows.
Spotted these bee hives on the way home so stopped for a look. They remind me of some of the high rises in Edinburgh ! Don’t know if they are different colours for a reason or not .
The oilseed rape is starting to flower so they should be kept busy as bees !
