Washing the cars

The husband wasn't very well in the night and so it was a bit of a slow start to the day (I took advantage and had a morning run, back before anyone else was awake).  It made for a slightly fractious household, and of course the boys pick up on anything.  I decided to take them out this morning, and of course one wanted to go, the other didn't - cried for about half an hour, and then, predictably didn't want to come home...   We did remote learning, it was frustrating.  When a 4 year old doesn't want to learn the word and, then it's pretty hard to convince him that he might want to.  Slightly more success in telling the time, and even more in learning numbers when the morning biscuit is hidden behind the number you have to find. 

The husband wasn't really up to taking the boys out this afternoon, so they washed cars.  The boys got very into it and brought their toys out to wash as well.  

Tomorrow is another (groundhog) day.

New phone arriving - which is very exciting! 
Almost having the patience for home learning 
The mute button on conference calls for when you want to open your new phone in the midst of a rather dull meeting...
