E made this delicious chocolate cake this afternoon. Her cakes are better than mine! A much better day today. A close family friend was allowed home from hospital today. He had heart surgery and we are so thankful he has had the strength to overcome this.
I also had a google meet with a friend/ colleague this morning and it was lovely to chat face to face! Teaching is a really social job and you do miss the face to face a lot even if it is only to talk about the little things.
