I seem to have spent most of the day on teams or zoom. What fantastic technology we have, thank heavens.

I finished my business calls and then spent a bit of time online with Stephen who runs the brewery openmic. He is trying to sort virtual open min out using Zoom but has run into sound quality issues. Zoom is great but is supposed to be used for voice, and so cuts out background noise.. it considers musical instruments as background nose and butchers them.

I’ve been looking into Zoom for band stuff so had some ideas. I think we have made some progress, I think he’s going to test it on Friday, I said I’d do tech support.

I hope the beer isn’t virtual.

After yesterday’s amazing Pirate extravaganza, H decided on a gentler story today with special guest Molly the Collie.
