Goodbye Spring....Hello Summer

A final cut down of the daffodils. No, I dont tie them down in little bunches as the gardening books tell you.

It's been a beautiful day so as well as a long telephone call with a friend I did quite a bit of weeding and clearing up in the garden.

Also I'm tŕying to find a couple of books to recommend for my book club night in June. Any suggestions gratefully considered....nothing too heavy or that runs to many hundreds of pages. We need to keep our choices light in every way...but not silly!
