Ouch...

So the day finally arrives and I go in for my "consultation only" appointment and end up leaving minus two teeth. Pain has been that bad that I've not been sleeping and it's been like this for months so at the end of the consult I was given a choice of coming back after who only knows how long a wait or have one of the trainees pull the worst one of the two today. Now I hate going to the dentist at the best of times (hence the need for two to come out today) so the thought of a learner doing this certainly had the old sphincter twitching. Anyway as him and I were chatting he said we will just do them both. All credit to the guy he was every bit as good and professional as any other dentist I've had. In fact he was probably better than them since his tutor was lurking over his shoulder.
Numbness is starting to wear off and pain starting to kick in so I'm off.
