Treacle

Treacle has been flying up here on top of the kitchen cupboards for a while but has now decided to have a snooze up there.

Boo can get up there too but is snuggled up beside me on the sofa watching Time Team.

I've been trying to think who the Brian Jonestown Massacre remind me of - none of the supposed bands claimed in various journals.

It eventually came to me - The Monkees or The Minkees as Clouseau would say.

It's probably more frequent that a British singer would adopt an American twang although not so much in recent years for any credible artist to do so however Anton Newcombe sounds as if he affects an English accent a la Davy Jones.

All part of the mystery of the drug addled Massacre.

You'd think being out of his tree most of the time would mellow Newcombe but his frustration manifests itself as rage more than too often.
