Spur Winged Plovers

When we got up (around 7.30) there was a cluster of 8 or 9 squawking plovers on our lawn.....they aren't my favourite bird, but I have to tolerate them as there seem to be plenty about.  Never have I seen so many on our lawn.  I took a few snaps through the window of the whole group, but have gone for this one (lens extended to 600mm) of the pair.  The one slightly at the back on the right, the spur is just showing but not very well.
Since I haven't taken any bird photos for an absolute age, I figured these should be my blip today.  Done and dusted before breakfast, yus !

I've been very troubled and frustrated over the last couple of days - my mouse cursor has been jumping, moving randomly and opening tabs, like there is someone inside my computer opening and shutting tabs, it has been driving me crazy.  I had checked my mouse hardware and put in a new battery, all good there.
Google suggested it could be the touch pad, so followed the instructions (to the letter) and disabled the touchpad, and bingo the cursor is now behaving.  When things get back to the new normal, I will have to find someone to check the touchpad which I think is jammed up a bit lot.
Any rate, in the meantime I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.

Oh, and the other news is I'm feeling so much better today, that is until I look in mirror and see all the grazes and scabs showing on my face.  The big toe is black and blue, other than that all is tickety-boo.
We had a good walk this morning.
