Slaggan bay
The lovely man in the Shepherd Hut told us to go to Slaggan Bay, so we did. We walked about 5km along an old farm track, past the ruins of Slaggan to the sandy bay. It was another perfect day of sunshine and the faintest of breezes. The girls swam and we picniced with our toes pushed into the sand. It's a vast beach and we shared it with only one other family. I leant into Nick as the sea washed over our feet and I felt very happy.
We nipped to Mellon Udrigle beach before returning home. I cannot get enough of the view there, particularly as the light falls.
