Two sides of a triangle

This signpost confirms what I thought I knew. My Allen family lived at Lea Grange Farm in the first half of the 1800s. Some of their events were at Orton on the Hill church, some at Twycross, and some at Norton Juxta Twycross. I've always said they moved between the churches as their farm was in the middle of a triangle created by these places. This fingerpost is at Norton Juxta Twycross and points to Twycross and Orton on the Hill and shows them to be in a roughly equilateral triangle. One reason I think they switched churches was that after Joseph Allen's first wife died he wanted a fresh start with the family he started with his second wife.

We had an interesting time today going to these three churches. The last time I photographed them I was using a film camera, and being rather skimpy with my shots!

Here are a few of the pictures of the churches. Sadly the actual houses they lived in are unknown or gone. Lea Grange farm has been replaced with modern buidings.
