Staying In Shape During The Off Season

Na'iema and I visited a friend today in town (outdoors and distanced) who needed a little help with figuring out Zoom yoga.  Actually, she was doing it all right, but she wasn't getting the meeting ID and password via email.  Debra and I came to New Hampshire about the same time 30 years ago and met at a local playgroup.  She had 3 boys and her yard was always the best place to play once they put in a pool and a full size basketball court.  I had Sumner and later Logan - they were all close in age and Debra and I were both late bloomers starting a family in our late 30s so we had a lot more in common with each other than the 20-somethings.  The boys were a little rough on Sumner, but mostly she held her own.  Debra had a hot dog machine for lunch by the pool and always Gumbo or chili of some kind to add to it.  Na'iema was looking longingly at the pool today and something tells me she'll get to try it out if we ever get summer.
