Onion patch

We have been working away in the garden! Rob had a real go at the vegetable patch and we managed to find a supply of horse manure just before lockdown and got that dug in. The garlic went in before Christmas and is now coming on well, but we are having to water the garden every day as we haven’t had a drop of rain for four weeks now. Along with the easterly gale blowing nonstop all the spring growth is beginning to suffer, which is a pity as it was all looking good for a while.
I am hoping the wind will drop somewhat tomorrow but I don’t think there’s any chance of rain for a fortnight, so we will keep on with the hose!
