Started to do some work on the stone yard wall at the back of the house. Loose paint needed to chipped off before any repainting. However as ever with an old property this revealed that the pointing needed serious attention. So another job added to the list for our local builder.

Have been hearing several Woodpeckers in our wood but only fleeting glimpses. However as we returned home from our dog walk I spotted movement in the Silver Birch tree. Even though it is not the best photo delighted to have finally seen it.
