Tiny Touch of Blue

One of the things I'm finding hardest about the confinement is missing the bluebells. The woods around here are now being encountered by the new villagers from the development sites and I'm seeing lots of photographs with unexpected Ooohs and Ahhs. The display is apparently magnificent.

Hey ho. We are doing quite well at holding on to our mental health, and that's mostly down to the gardens. In the front garden beneath the eating apple tree there are a few native bluebells that are surviving away from the invasive Spanish ones under the holly.

In the back garden the koi have decided they'd quite like to be fed now please - which is lucky because Amazon have delivered some! The water is still rather opaque, mainly due to defensive action against the visiting heron, but they're still there.
