A Canterbury Tale
The tale here is that this iconic image from Canterbury Cathedral is not a piece of medieval stained glass. Associated with the pilgrims in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, it is a very good 2oth century fake.
This shot is of a plastic transparency on my kitchen window, given to me by my son (blip name tomfoolery).
I love it, even if isn't genuinely medieval.
