Market Fish

I am back to a more normal schedule after a hectic week of shooting volleyball for SOB - shopping at the market in the morning, playing volleyball (rather than watching) during the mid-day, and reading with a cool beverage in the afternoon.

My wife wanted shrimp for dinner and there is only one place to purchase as far as she is concerned, this stall in the corner of the fish market section of the mercado. A kilo of fully cleaned shrimp, no extra charge, fresh from somewhere close by for under 200 pesos can't be beat. They made for a delicious dinner and we have some left over for later in the week!

I wanted to feature the fish in today's post, but my wife liked the dynamics of the people in this shot. The way the owner is looking off for the next customer as his workers toil at cleaning the shrimp for this customer.
