The rape has come into flower

This is the view from the back of our house. We look across the valley of the Upper Don. The view is constantly changing by the hour and minute, with the weather, seasons and the activity of the farmers as they manage the fields and the crops. If we are bored with this, we can watch the cows, birds, hares and other wildlife (e.g. deer) that visit. The oil seed rape has come into flower now so we can enjoy the splash of yellow that this year is in the more distant fields.
