Hold on tight

Admired the icicles on the rock side beside my commute walk. The picture is of the part is where two icicles are joined together. It looks like nature has strengthened the joint with stiches, very strange.

Last day with about -10C, tomorrow it should be -1...+1C. I do not like that change at all, would rather have -5 and colder all through the winter.
