J + 35 - 3 am

Boris woke me up so I went out on the balcony to enjoy the stillness outside. The village is quiet apart from the sound of the river and the odd cat miawing (probably Boris calling his friends from the roof).
I chat by Whatsapp with my friend Gwen in Hawaii who tells me she is just back from a swim in the ocean. This is one of the first things I want to do when this lockdown ends.
