A walk with Gracie....

Today the weather cooperated and after spending a few hours in the mudroom, cleaning green ware....yuck.....i met Jane down by the harbor, for a very cautious walk and visit!   we made sure we stayed 6' apart and we had the bouncy young Gracie....boy she is so wonderful.   She's actually very calm and obedient for such a young dog...but at one point she did show her crazy, disobedient side...and wouldn't come when there was a car on the road and Jane called her!!!   she was promptly put back on leash!!!

And now to add to the already stressful time right now, we have to deal with this horrific situation here in Nova Scotia.....so far the total dead is over 19.....including the shooter!   Such a tragedy, and i can only imagine how horrendous it must be for the families of the dead.....i'm just about to watch the late night news to see if there is any more information!!!  how do you make sense of this type of act....the truth is, you can't and all you can do is feel for the people affected and be kind to the ones you know and love!
