New term

So the summer term begins. Will was learning about similes and metaphors (well revising really) while Carys was reunited via Zoom with her Academy of Balletic Arts teacher, Sarah, who is only well enough to teach now five weeks after first becoming unwell, with we assume Covid. Carys was a very happy bunny afterwards and had a huge grin for most of the day.

It was also a big day for her as we posted the deregistration letter to school and she embarked on the beginning of 4 GCSE'S with the intention of sitting them next summer. She worked really well independently the first two weeks of lockdown and today was no exception. A few little teething troubles with working out what to click on to get where, but so far so good.

Will did ok considering it was another change of routine, but he stuck mostly to his timetable and he's likely only to get better from that point of view.

Oh yes and we finally have a working study after converting it's use from a nursery over 8 years ago but never quite getting round to sorting and clearing it properly.
