I started out to walk the 2 miles to Lauriston Castle as there’s a Japanese garden in the beautiful grounds ... I wasn’t sure if they would be open but headed off anyway, a wee change from the usual routes.

I must have taken a wrong turn at Barnton, ended up near Cramond and by the time I’d got to Lauriston Castle I’d done 11k steps and still had 2 miles to go home!

Good news is that the grounds are open so will pop down later in the week.

Nice views of Cramond Island, the Forth and over to Fife.

Just back inside after trying to see the Starlink Satellites but they were quite spaced apart and the sky wasn’t completely dark so only saw 4. Alarm set for 10:30pm tomorrow.
