The barber.

After our after walk today, down the back lane and across the fields, we had homemade scones and tea in the garden. Our youngest son, who’s back here just now, made the scones yesterday. Today he gave me a first class haircut. My wife took several photos; I suspect she will have a further opportunity before this is all over! He
did his own again later. My wife would like to get to her hairdressers.

Read a bit in the garden for half an hour and also reflected on the First Minister’s press conference. A new fully equipped temporary hospital opened today. And a plane load of PPE arrived at Prestwick on Saturday. Such are the times that we live in.

Family FaceTime was good. Several teachers in the family back at work, and talk of holiday refunds (or perhaps not as the case may be). We also discussed a bereavement today in the family of a close friend and the birth of a new baby to another friend.
