Happy Monday

Can’t decide if this is the before or after shot. Before it was full of weeds, a few crocosmia and that big agapanthus down the side of the shed where no one goes. . I threw the weeds away, moved the crocosmia, gave up trying to get the agapanthus out and generally made it all look nice. Ella said she is going to doing Seedy Sunday, successional sowing each week. I’m happily copying that so this can just sit quietly until Sunday. Am thrilled with my new bed, suspect I could have just said “did some gardening” here but where’s the fun in that?

Overall, a very marvellous day off. There is something special in just finding the things you want to do. In normal times I would have a. just gone to work or b. spent a fortune at the garden centre on random stuff. Instead I did lots of things exactly as I pleased with stuff I already owned. Mainly in the sunshine.

Back to school for the little ones (made myself laugh there). For some reason Daisy has a pile of work and tests to do. Will has a lesson free day, instead their form tutors were getting in touch to make sure everyone was ok. And sending out the well being questionnaire. And the well being journal for future weeks. I asked Will if he would like us to discuss his questionnaire and journal and his feelings in general as a family. Turns out no, he would not like that. What else can I do??

Oh and look- my favourite blip of the day!
