Age, Strength and Beauty

Just managed to get back from our walk this morning before rain set in for the day.

Deciding that the light would not improve as the day progressed, and that a better shot was unlikely, I took a photo of a pretty little fern, peeping out of the dry stone wall surrounding our land.

These stone walls have surrounded the fields for hundreds of years, are amazingly strong and are full of beautiful colours.
