Touchdown

It's another wee birdie. Sorry but I couldn't resist using this as I just like the fact that it's in focus whilst the wings show movement. Not really what I was going for, just pure luck.

You will know that I had a fall the other day. Well I am pleased to say the bum is much better and although I thought the camera and lens were ok, I had some doubts after yesterday. I seemed to have a focus tracking issue; any time I was taking a moving subject, in this case Tizzy, I would end up with an out of focus image. Still images were good. So, having a few minutes to hand this morning I stopped off at Redesmere to do a little test.

It turns out that yes, both the camera and lens are in fact perfectly ok. The problem lies with the operator. Yes ladies and gents, I am the problem and it's time for me to read the manual for the first time since buying the camera 2 years ago.
