Drifting ice at Marken

Today I went to Marken, a small peninsula and fishing village in the IJsselmeer, to see the drifting ice at "Het Paard". That is the lighthouse at Marken.
Because it stopped freezing and the wind is getting stronger, the ice in the IJsselmeer starts moving. At the Paard van Marken it accumulates. Today it piled up to 5 meters!
