24/365 - Robin in the Snow

After 2 walks round the village this week hoping to catch my little friend the Robin on camera I decided to lure him in with some bait - left over peas and sweetcorn from the kids lunch! I popped out and sprinkled them in the snow opposite the house then back inside to wait zoom lens at the ready! I really did not think it would work with all the birds flitting around in the trees I assumed another bird would come and gobble them up!
Not even 2 minutes of waiting and little Robin appeared, absolutely loving the veg, and posing nicely for me between nibbles!!!
Might make some Christmas cards with this picture this year!
