MonoMonday: "Out of Focus"

Trisharooni has set "Out of Focus" for today's MM challenge. Well of course it's all too easy to take an out-of-focus shot, but much harder to make it look as if you meant it to be that way!

Anyway I was planning to walk through a small local wood this morning, and the sun was shining, so I popped my Helios lens on the camera as I reckoned it would be able to produce some fun spiral bokeh. This is the result.

My Editor chose this one from four shots I showed her, because she said she can make a story out of it. She has a good imagination, but she thinks there are 3 dark figures towards the lower left corner, pondering whether they dare enter the dark tunnel near the centre. But she says you should make up your own story - only if you want to, of course!

As usual it looks best large, against black.
