Maids Head Hotel

Used in film sets for " The Go Between " wonderful sixties film based on LP Hartley's novel and starring Julie Christie and Alan Bates. It's a period gem, do see it if you can.
CJ Sansom had his protagonist Matthew Shardlake stay here in 1553 in his 2018 novel Tombland
