Central Fells

They are still there!  A walk up onto Hampsfell on this most splendid day and we were relieved and delighted to see that the lakeland fells were still there despite not being able to visit for several weeks now.  Wonderfully clear we could see the magnificent outline they make.  Really enjoyed our walk today.  It is a walk I have done so many times before but it resonated more today and it made me very happy.  Very few people out but those that were were observing the rules.  No vapour trails in the sky, although we did see and hear a couple of Typhoon jets zooming around.  They were clearly having fun too.
