Nature’s secrets

We walked (Max rode) to the little woods in the nature reserve nearby to find our little den still there!
Max and Anya spent some time playing before we wandered back through the fields; stopping to appreciate the little things - ladybirds on leaves, blossoming trees, nesting birds and ‘secret’ areas for Anya to hide in.
We’ve been reading the secret garden, which she’s loved and it has really made her notice nature’s magic and wonder (a few extras)
This afternoon I spent time ringing parents of children in my class; checking in to see if all is Ok or if we can help in any way. It was lovely to speak to some of the children and hear about what they’ve been doing. There are still a few that I’ve not heard from though and would like to get hold of soon.
