Apple blossom

The Christmas Pearman apple tree has come into blossom.  

A good few days, celebrating Andy's birthday yesterday with homemade birthday cake, our traditional Saturday night curry and catching up with friends and family by FaceTime, text and phone.  Then today I spent time at the allotment.  There was a lot to do but I'm pleased with what I achieved which included emptying my first ever batch of homemade compost on to the beds. This afternoon Andy constructed a grow table (a little raised bed which looks like a table as it is on long legs and stands at waist height).  I plan to grow salad leaves and small vegetables in it.
