Evening Constitutional

This photo is taken from the rocks I usually sit on when doing my evening walk. It used to be part of the Hanging Falls Quarry which supplied stone to the brickworks farther down the valley. The high ground above is Queensbury. There was a chill wind blowing across tonight so I didn’t hand around too long.

Finished my Lego pet shop this morning so I am now Legoless!

Watching a program about The West Highland Railway at the moment which runs from Fort William to Mallaig. I was up that way the weekend before the lockdown was declared and spent a day travelling along the Road To The Isles which more or less runs adjacent to the line. Really love that area of Scotland and can’t wait to get up there again with Sal. Both the mountain and the coastal views are terrific.

No bird action to report today except for some weird pigeon noises which sounded as if there were coming from my hawthorn tree! I’ll let you draw your own conclusions about that one ;-)
