Get a Graip

The highlight of the HQ Social Year has arrived with the emptying of the compost bins.  This year’s ‘Enabler’ was Joanna Lumley, she played the role of Katie Boyle.  Tributes were paid to former attendees: Molly Weir, Chic Murray, Renee Houston, Bob Crampsey, Richard Wilson, Diana Dors and Lee Van Cleef.

The old pallets have stood for about 15 years so they were chopped up and a new one built.

Award of the Golden Graip went to Norris Eunson and his supporter Doris Youngson.  The cutting of the compost was performed by Mack the Knife.  Prayers were offered up to Lance Percival.  Obviously, all parts of the ceremony were via a hand-held device.  Other parts were played by members of the Cast.
