Looking over Lanarkshire

My walk this morning took me through our woods up a farm track. Coming back, the view over the the Clyde Valley was really clear, set off nicely by the blue sky. In the middle of the track there is a dog walker. As we passed at a good distance, we had a chat and he informed me that the fields to the left and right had been sold for housing development. I’ll enjoy them while I still can.
