Whilst we were sleeping .

Walking through some woodland near our home we came across a small encampment which wasn’t there a few weeks ago. It looked like someone had been having fun , making a den , setting a fire , there were even seats and a chopping block .
I suspect it was a group of retirees called the green gym who I shall be eligible to join from tomorrow( day 1 of retirement ) except I don’t suppose they will be meeting again for a while .
Whoever has been up there has been really creative with the way they have cleared the undergrowth, mainly elderly rhododendron bushes , and constructed lots of small areas of varied interest . We go up there often , but never see anyone at work just the results. Feel very lucky to live so close to some very lovely countryside .
