Super Sumo

Me and lune got up early to go and grab cheap sumo tickets. By 7 30 we were stomping our feet in the chill morning air, waiting in line. The tour comes three times a year to Tokyo, and this was the first of the new year. The wrestlers were all very powerful (and a few terribly obese), but occasionally there were odd moments of agility and grace that jarred with their weighty frames. Before each division they perform a short ceremony in these decorative aprons which cost about £4000...
