Fly away butterfly

A year ago today my dear wife Pamela was admitted to hospital with severe tummy pain. If you've been following my blips that is when my world changed. After 2 emergency operations they discovered the cause of the bowel tumour to be ovarian cancer. She did well getting through 6 chemotherapy sessions only for the pain to restart at Christmas time. After 1 further chemo session she was deemed not fit enough for any more and treatment ceased on 20 March.

Last night at 10.30pm whilst at home she surrendered and flew away to be in pain no more. Goodnight my sweetheart.

Today has been different and this morning I escaped for a 2 hour walk around the village (see extras). Can't help thinking that the butterfly following me knew who I was...
