A View From The Bridge
One day seems to be getting much like another now under lockdown. We had our family Zoom chat after breakfast then walked down to get shopping for the next couple of days, stopping to chat to neighbours who were working in their front garden.
When we got back I made a beer bread loaf inthe oven for lunch then we decided to put together the mini greenhouse we bought the other day. As bedding plants are likely to be in short supply this summer, Tess has sown packs of seeds some of which are ready for pricking out, so we thought a greenhouse would help. We managed to put it together in double quick time and were just congratulating ourselves on not encountering any problems when we discovered the zip onthe plastic cover was broken! We shouldn't have tempted fate!
I took it back to change it this afternoon and, typically, they'd sold out.
We decided on a bike ride out to the Ham Wall nature reserve, which was very popular with cyclists and walkers today. The main path is still open but they've closed off all the side tracks and paths, so this shot was taken from the bridge over one of the streams.
